Fire At Maryland Golf And Country Club Reported

Firefighters were called to Maryland Golf and Country Club Friday night.

BEL AIR, MD — Firefighters were handling a fire at the Maryland Golf and Country Club Friday night in Bel Air, officials said. Crews were dispatched to investigate an unknown fire at the maintenance building at the country club, according to the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company.

The Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company responded to the 1300 block of East Macphail Road, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, which was assisting.

A vehicle fire had occurred in the area of the building before 8:45 p.m., the Joppa-Magnolia fire company reported.

Nobody was injured in the blaze, and a cause had not been determined, officials said.
