Firefighters Called To William Paca Elementary

The Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company reported that it was on the scene at the elementary school on Philadelphia Road.

EDGEWOOD, MD — Firefighters said they were called to William Paca Elementary School Tuesday afternoon due to a utility issue.

At 2:50 p.m., the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company reported that it was in the 2700 block of Philadelpia Road. A sprinkler pipe had broken at the school, the fire company reported.

There was no fire, and nobody was injured, according to the fire company, which said it was at William Paca Field.
