Giant Praying Mantis in Bel Air?
This natural work of art is near BB&T on Baltimore Pike.

When I posted on Maryland Route 24, Todd Holden had some choice words in a Facebook comment:
"IT SUCKS...CALL IT ART, CALL IT [expletive], I CALL IT RIDICULOUS, AND THOSE WHO APPROVED IT ARE INSANE"
On Thursday, he found something near on Baltimore Pike that's more in line with his taste—a 20-foot praying mantis. Sort of.

“My God, it’s better than the artwork that they pay somebody to put up," Holden told me on the phone after texting the photo. "That’s mother nature creating work in downtown Bel Air that’s far superior to anything man can make.”
He loved it so much he wanted to share it with you all, and I'm happy to oblige. Know that readers are what make Patch go 'round, so anytime you have a story idea or a photo to share, send it my way.

In the meantime, enjoy this picture and tell me if I'm crazy for agreeing with Todd.
