Governor Larry Hogan Makes Rounds At BBQ Bash In Bel Air

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan was among the thousands of attendees at the Maryland BBQ Bash.

BEL AIR, MD — Gov. Larry Hogan was among those flocking to the Maryland BBQ Bash Friday night in Bel Air. He posed for pictures and sampled some of the fare at the festival that celebrates all things barbecue.

Live music, barbecue competitions, children's entertainers and food vendors are expected to draw crowds of about 30,000 on Friday and Saturday during the annual Maryland BBQ Bash, which is the Bel Air Downtown Alliance's signature event.

Amidst the sizzling grills and live music, Hogan made the rounds, visiting with Harford County Executive Barry Glassman and scores of constituents and taking time to watch a mural being painted on-site. Street artist ARCY will complete two murals, one for each day of the bash.
