Graffiti Marring Bel Air Memorial, Wall is Not Gang-Related: Police
Tagging in Bel Air is 'not related to any active gang activity,' police say.
BEL AIR, MD — Two cases of graffiti in the town of Bel Air are being investigated as isolated incidents, according to police.
In one case, the Fallen Heroes Memorial on Bond Street was vandalized with what appears to say "MS."
In another, a wall on South Main Street was tagged with "MS-13," according to the Bel Air Police Department.

"Although 'MS-13' may be a reference to Mara Salvatrucha 13, a known gang, at this time we believe the incidents are isolated and not related to any active gang activity," the Bel Air Police Department said in a statement.
The vandalism occurred overnight between Monday night and Tuesday morning, police said.
