Guardrail Replacement Project Targets U.S. 1 In Harford County
Crews continue to replace guardrails along a one-mile stretch of U.S. 1 in Harford County. Officials remind drivers to use caution.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Crews have been busy replacing guardrails along the shoulders of U.S. 1, a project that will last until early April.
Complete closures aren't expected along the route, but drivers should remain cautious as they pass through the area, according to the State Highway Administration.
The project targets U.S. 1 (Belair Road) from Open Bible Way to the Harford County Line/Little Gunpowder Falls. Contractor crews will work along this one-mile segment of U.S. 1 weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Weather permitting, the project will wrap up in early April.
