Harford County Public Schools Makes Weather Decision

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Public schools in Harford County are closed on Thursday, Jan. 4. Harford County Public Schools made the announcement Thursday morning and attributed the delay to inclement weather.

All after-school and evening activities are canceled.

Employees should follow the protocol for code blue.

The National Weather Service is calling for slippery road conditions due to snow.

Harford County is under a winter weather advisory until 11 a.m. on Thursday.

Harford County initially announced a two-hour delay and later decided to close. Check a list of school closings from WBAL.
