UPDATED: Harford County Closings For March 14 Snowstorm
A snowstorm is expected to dump up to a foot of snow in Harford County by Tuesday. See if schools are closed or activities canceled.

BEL AIR, MD (UPDATED 11:30 a.m.) — A snowstorm is expected to dump up to a foot of snow Tuesday in Harford County.
Patch will be keeping an eye on school closings across the region for Tuesday, March 14, and will be updating this post with the latest information.

Cancellations for Tuesday, March 14
- Harford County Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, March 14. The school system is on "Code Green," meaning all schools and school offices are closed. Only those identified as essential personnel will report, and Code Green employees should await further instructions for reporting times. No second shift custodians will be on duty. All daycare and all evening activities are canceled.
- Harford Community College and Towson University of Northeastern Maryland are closed. Call 443-412-2322 for more details.
- APG is closed on Tuesday, March 14. Emergency essential personnel should check with their chains of command for additional instructions.
- Town of Bel Air government offices are closed on Tuesday, March 14. Essential employees must report as required.
- Aberdeen City Hall will be closed, officials said at 8:30 a.m.
- Havre de Grace City Hall will be closed on Tuesday, March 14.
- Harford County government offices will be closed on Tuesday, March 14. Critical employees should report in accordance with the policies established within their departments.
- Harford County Public Library will be closed on Tuesday, March 14.
- State of Maryland offices will be closed in Harford County.
- Harford Transit Link will be suspending transit services on Tuesday, March 14. The service will get going again on Wednesday, March 15, as long as road conditions permit.
- Penn Line Train 520 (12:20 p.m. departure from Union Station) will terminate at Aberdeen today. No alternate service will be provided between Aberdeen and Perryville.
- Penn Line Train 537 (2:30 p.m. departure from Perryville) will originate in Aberdeen today. No alternate service will be provided between Perryville and Aberdeen. This is due to switch and signal problems south of Perryville. Amtrak has not yet provided an estimate for restoration of service.
- Amtrak train 151 will not operate on Tuesday, March 14. This train honors MARC weekly and monthly passes only from Perryville, Aberdeen, and Edgewood stations.
Cancellations for Monday, March 13
All Harford County Public Schools athletic events, afterschool/evening activities, and the Board of Education meeting scheduled for Monday, March 13, 2017, are canceled.
