Harford Holiday Closings for Thanksgiving 2015

While many government offices are closing for the Thanksgiving holiday, some other institutions are open and hoping for some holiday shoppers.

Harford County Public Library will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25. It will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 26, and Friday, Nov. 27. All branches will reopen Saturday, Nov. 28, for normal hours.

Harford County Government offices will be closed on Thanksgiving.

Town of Bel Air offices will be closed on Thanksgiving and on Friday, Nov. 27.

Trash and recycling will not be picked up on Thursday, Nov. 26, in Harford County. All trash and recycling will be one day later than regularly scheduled for the remainder of the week.

Harford Mall will have a variety of businesses open on Thursday, Nov. 26, and on Black Friday.

Supermarkets: Giant will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Giant pharmacies will be open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Safeway on Brierhill Drive is open from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Contact ShopRite for store hours. Target is open from 6 p.m. to midnight on Thanksgiving and midnight to 11 p.m. on Nov. 27. Walmart is open from 6 a.m. to midnight on Thanksgiving. Wegmans will be open from 6 a.m to 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving. The Wegmans pharmacy will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
