HCPS Makes Weather Call For Wednesday, Feb. 20

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Harford County Public Schools will be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 20. Officials made the announcement Tuesday evening.

Both schools and school offices will be closed due to the weather forecast, according to authorities.

After-school and evening activities for Wednesday are canceled in Harford County Public Schools.

Harford County is under a winter storm warning from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, with the National Weather Service calling for 3 to 6 inches of snow and a light glaze of ice.

Snow in the morning will mix with and change to sleet and freezing rain by early afternoon, then rain Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service.
