Hickory Court Apartment Fire Under Investigation
Crews were called to an apartment fire on North Hickory Avenue Friday night in Bel Air, officials said.
BEL AIR, MD — Investigators are working to determine what caused an apartment fire Friday night in Bel Air. Firefighters said they contained the blaze at Hickory Court Apartments to one general area.
Crews were dispatched to the 100 block of North Hickory Avenue at 10:36 p.m., according to Jenn Chenworth, spokeswoman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
Firefighters from Bel Air, Fallston, Joppa-Magnolia, Kingsville and Abingdon brought the blaze under control in about 20 minutes, said Rich Gardiner of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company.

The one-alarm fire was contained to the laundry and storage area of the apartment complex, he said.
Nobody was injured, officials reported around 11 p.m.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating.

Investigators were also called to the scene of a fire in Port Deposit earlier in the evening.
