Here's Why The Helicopter Is Flying Around Harford County

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A helicopter hovering around Harford County is inspecting the power lines, according to officials.

Through Tuesday afternoon, the helicopter will be conducting aerial power line inspections.

Catalyst Aviation is the service in charge of the inspections, the Harford County Sheriff's Office reported.

"No, they're not trying to see in your window!" the sheriff's office said in a statement. "So no need to call 911 if you see the helicopter, it's just checking to make sure everything is safe and in working order!"
