Bel Air Home Invasion Suspect Charged
The suspect in a home invasion Wednesday morning was found walking nearby, and evidence tied him to the scene, Bel Air police said.

BEL AIR, MD — A man has been charged in a home invasion in Bel Air early Wednesday morning, according to the Bel Air Police Department. The victims awoke in the middle of the night to find a stranger in the apartment.
The home invasion happened around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday on Old English Court, police said.
"One victim awoke and found the bedroom door open and saw a figure moving about the hallway," police said in a statement. When both victims confronted the intruder in the kitchen, he showed he had a knife and left, according to officials.

Officers said they found a man who matched the description of the suspect walking in the 400 block of Moores Mill Road. They also found items stolen from the apartment in a vehicle registered to him that was in the parking lot of the apartment complex, police said.
Andrew Cureton Jr., 24, of Gwynn Oak, was charged with home invasion, burglary, assault and theft under $1,000, according to officials.
