Two teens stomped and hammered a resident on Moores Mill Road during a home invasion, authorities say. The pair allegedly kicked in the side door to a residence and accosted the resident, who was sleeping. The incident was reportedly retaliatory.

Pawn Shop Scheme: 5 Indicted In Edgewood, Sheriff Says
After recovering $50,000 worth of unopened, new merchandise that had been sold to local pawn shops in 2015, authorities began their investigation. In one month, the sheriff's office reported recovering $20,000 in merchandise. Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler said the theft scheme was connected to addiction.

Bel Air Restaurateur Jailed For Former Business Schemes
A Bel Air man whose family owns a local taphouse was convicted of wire fraud. He will pay $500K in restitution for fraudulent sports memorabilia sales and serve jail time. He admitted that he purchased jerseys in bulk from China, forged autographs of well-known sports figures on them, created false certificates of authenticity and collected $2.5 million in sales using Amazon and Paypal accounts, the U.S. Attorney reports.

Last Day of School In Harford County For 2017 Established
Because of snow days, the school system adjusted its calendar. During the 2016-2017 school year, there were two days when classes were canceled by Harford County Public Schools due to inclement weather.
