Homestead-Wakefield Closed on Monday: HCPS
Harford County Public Schools officials say the elementary school on South Main Street in Bel Air is closed on Monday, April 4.

BEL AIR, MD – Homestead-Wakefield Elementary School will be closed to students on Monday, April 4, Harford County Public Schools officials announced Monday morning. Staff should report to the Wakefield building.
Phone service is unavailable to both buildings at the school on South Main Street in Bel Air, according to Harford County Public Schools spokeswoman Jillian Lader, who said those involved in Y daycare programs would be contacted directly by the YMCA.
Officials cited a power outage as the reason behind the closure on Monday.

At 7:55 a.m. on Monday, BGE was reporting there were 15 customers without power in Harford County, where nearly 2,000 customers had been restored following a slew of outages from the weekend's bout of severe weather.
