Abingdon House Fire Under Control: Officials
Firefighters are at the scene of a reported house fire in Abingdon Saturday.

ABINGDON, MD - A fire in Abingdon has been placed under control Saturday after the house engulfed in flames, authorities said.
At 5 p.m., Joppa-Magnolia reported that its crew was assisting the Abingdon Fire Company with the blaze in the 700 block of Long Bar Harbor Road.
By 5:45 p.m., the fire had been declared under control, according to Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association spokesman Rich Gardiner. Nobody was injured, Gardiner said, and the cause of the blaze was under investigation.
