The suspect drove away in a champagne-colored Nissan Maxima that police said should have front-end damage. He was described as a black man who is 200 pounds and approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall.

I-95 was closed in both directions at approximately 2:30 p.m. so that the medevac could land and pick up the victim. Within 10 minutes, traffic on I-95 south was released, while delays persisted for hours on I-95 north.
Backups were approximately 6.5 miles long on I-95 north at 4:30 p.m., when the crash finally cleared after lane closures for cleanup and investigation.
"No one has been arrested or charged with any crimes at this time," police said in a statement Thursday night.
