Investigation Continues in Fatal Fallston Hit and Run: Police
Maryland State Police search for Jeep Cherokee that left the scene after killing man with snow blower.

In the days following a fatal crash on Harford Road in Fallston, Maryland State Police say they have been searching for the driver of a Jeep Cherokee that left the scene.
“Investigators continue to follow up on leads,” Maryland State Police spokesman Greg Shipley said, adding that as of Monday night, there was “...nothing new to report about the case.”
At approximately 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, a pedestrian was hit while walking behind a snowblower in the 2800 block of Harford Road, police said.

Police said the vehicle appeared to lose control and struck a man from behind.
The driver did not stop and headed north on Harford Road toward MD 152, according to police, who described the suspect vehicle as a dark-colored Jeep Cherokee with a silver bumper, dark flared fenders and a lift kit—meaning it sits higher off the road than normal Jeeps.

The vehicle was speeding at the time of the crash, The Aegis reported.
Metro Crime Stoppers, a volunteer group that helps law enforcement solve crimes, released a photo that it says resembles the Jeep Cherokee suspected of hitting Christian Widomski, 44, of Fallston.
The picture, published with this article, shows the general idea of the vehicle, police said.
“The photo is an example of what it may look like, but is not an exact replica. For example, the color was dark. It could have been dark green, dark blue or some other dark color,” Shipley said.
