​Kyle Lynam, 16, Of White Hall

There will be a visitation and memorial service for the North Harford student who was killed running to catch the school bus this week.

Kyle Lynam of White Hall was born May 31, 2002. He passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 9.

The 16-year-old North Harford High School sophomore was an aspiring firefighter and tow truck driver who was active in Boy Scouts.

He was described by friends as "kind" and "the sweetest," the person who looked out for their best interests and pushed them to do the right thing, according to ABC 2 News.

Visitation will be from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, at the E.G. Kurtz & Son Funeral Home, 1114 Baldwin Mill Road, Jarrettsville, MD 21084.

There will be a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Sunday Oct. 14, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, people may send donations in Kyle's memory to his GoFundMe page, or directly to Kurtz Funeral Home, P.O. Box 6 Jarrettsville, MD 21084; note on the check "For Kyle Lynam memorial fund."
