Main Street Oyster House Changing Owners: Report
The restaurant on Bel Air's Main Street is said to be shifting owners, possibly getting revamped.
BEL AIR, MD – The Main Street Oyster House may be changing its name and concept as ownership shifts in the months ahead.
The seafood restaurant and bar opened in October 2013, the fourth such establishment to open in the space on Main Street in several years.
Prior to its identity as the oyster house, the business at 119 South Main Street was home to the Dark Horse. The building was home to a Greene Turtle until 2009, and before that it was Ropewalk.

By this September, ownership of the Main Street Oyster House is slated to be transferred to Brian Acquavella, a C. Milton Wright alumnus who also owns the Blue Agave in Federal Hill, The Aegis reported.
According to the newspaper, Acquavella does not plan to make any changes to the restaurant's name or menu until at least 2017, after asking questions from the community about its desires.
