MARYLAND — Warmer weather has arrived in Maryland and that means the Bel Air Farmers' Market has officially opened and outdoor movie nights have returned to National Harbor. April also ushered in a couple of new fine dining options: Peter Chang in Gaithersburg offers Chinese-style tapas and Medium Rare offers a prix fixe steak experience in Howard County.
Movie Theater Opening In Former AMC Location
The AMC Classic Churchville 7 officially closed its doors Sunday, leaving two movie theaters in operation in Harford County. However, the site won't be vacant for long; Flagship Premium Cinemas said it will reopen a movie theater in the same spot.
New Flight At BWI Airport Among Southwest's Shortest: Reports
Southwest Airlines recently added a nonstop flight from Baltimore to Richmond, Patch confirmed. The flight debuts on June 4 at BWI Airport.

The region's newest Peter Chang restaurant held its grand opening April 18 in Gaithersburg with a Chinese tapas-style menu of small, shareable plates offered. Peter Chang Gaithersburg is located in what had been Ichiban Restaurant, MOCO Show said.
Medium Rare Opens With Prix Fixe Three-Course Meal Free
Medium Rare opened its doors in Columbia located at 6000 Merriweather Drive across from the Merriweather Post Pavilion. Co-owner Mark Bucher offers a menu with a prix fixe three-course steak frites meal.

Two new tenants will join The Village at Waugh Chapel in Gambrill by summer: Mathnasium and Sephora, according to a news release from developer Greenberg Gibbons.
Foxtrot Market Abruptly Closes MD Store, Other DMV Locations

Movie Night Returns To National Harbor With Classics, Blockbusters
Starting May 2, National Harbor will start showing its free Movies on the Potomac series through Sept. 27. Every Thursday will be date night movies starting at 7 p.m. and Sundays will be family-oriented movies starting at 6 p.m.
