Medevac Responds After Vehicle Hits Tree: Bel Air VFC

A helicopter picked up crash victim from Red Pump Elementary School, Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company official reported.

BEL AIR, MD — One person was flown to a regional trauma center following a crash into a tree in Bel Air Thursday evening, emergency personnel reported.

The crash occurred around 5:15 p.m. in the area of Grafton Shop Road at Vale Road, according to Rich Gardiner of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company.

A medevac landed at Red Pump Elementary School to pick up the victim, who was flown to a regional trauma center for treatment, Gardiner said.
