Memorial Day 2017: What's Open, Closed In Bel Air

BEL AIR, MD — Memorial Day weekend means plenty of closures in observance of the holiday. We've put together a quick guide of what will be open, what will be closed as well as where to commemorate veterans.

The town of Bel Air and American Legion Harford Post #39 will host a Memorial Day ceremony honoring deceased veterans. The event will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 29, at Lee Way and Hickory Avenue.

All Harford County public schools, libraries and government offices will be closed on Monday, May 29. The Harford Waste Disposal Center will also be closed in observance of Memorial Day.

Trash in the town of Bel Air that was to be picked up on Monday will be picked up on Wednesday, May 31. There will be no bulk trash pickup the week of Memorial Day. Town Hall will be closed on Monday, May 29.

All public parks will be open.
