Nominations Now Being Accepted for the Harford Community College 2017 Distinguished Alumni Award
The award was established to honor the achievements of former HCC students.
Alumni are an integral part of Harford Community College’s rich history and tradition, and to celebrate their accomplishments, the College annually awards a Distinguished Alumni Award. Nominations are now being accepted for the 2017 award.
The award was established in 2014 to honor the achievements of former HCC students. Recipients of this award must attain outstanding success and distinction in their chosen profession, demonstrate a commitment to the community and charitable outreach, and maintain an interest in and service to Harford Community College.
The award will be presented during the College’s commencement ceremony on May 25, 2017.

To be considered, the applicant must be an alumnus, having taken a course at the College. Self-nominations and posthumous applications will also be considered. The nominee must commit, at the time of the application submission, to attend the College’s commencement ceremony. The deadline for submission is February 28, 2017.
Previous winners are Patricia A. Thompson, DNP, RN; Chuck Boyle; and Ann B. Ramsay.
