Oak Crest Promotes Bel Air Resident Kristin Stoneberg to Assistant Administrator of Continuing Care

Oak Crest, the Erickson Living retirement community, announced the promotion of Kristin Stoneberg to Assistant Administrator of Continuing Care.

Mrs. Stoneberg brings twenty-three years of senior health care experience to her new position, mainly as a speech pathologist in post-acute and long-term care settings. She began her career at Oak Crest in July, 2013 as the Assistant Rehabilitation Manager and completed the Administer-in-Training Program in 2017.

“Kristin is a shining example of a leader who has taken advantage of the professional development opportunities offered by Erickson Living,” stated Heather Uttenreither, Director of Continuing Care. “Through hard work and dedication to the profession, she completed the administrator-in-training program and licensing requirements, and we look forward to the continued positive contributions she will make to our residents, their family members and employees.”

As Assistant Administrator, Mrs. Stoneberg will support and implement a variety of initiatives, including the opening of a new, state-of-the-art memory care neighborhood in the spring of 2018 featuring 38 private rooms with a person-centered approach to care. The continuing care neighborhood at Oak Crest provides assisted living, long-term care and inpatient & outpatient rehabilitation services.

A licensed Nursing Home Administrator in Maryland, Mrs. Stoneberg holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology and a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from Towson University. She is also a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, and since 1994, she has been a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association.

Mrs. Stoneberg resides in Bel Air with her husband and two sons.
