Parade Canceled at 2016 Dublin Country Fair
Other fair activities will continue as planned, but organizers said parade is not happening.
STREET, MD – The Dublin Country Fair will take place Saturday, but the parade will not, officials announced.
"Due to all of the rain, the Dublin Country Fair Committee has decided to cancel the parade..." organizers said Friday.
The children's area—including face painting, free fingerprinting, balloons and toys—will be moved inside at the Darlington Volunteer Fire Company's Dublin Station.

The fair itself is a rain-or-shine event that includes a car show in addition to crafts, games and food vendors. All proceeds go to scholarships for local students.
The Dublin Country Fair begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 7. It will be at the Darlington Volunteer Fire Company's Dublin Station at 1520 Whiteford Road Street, MD 21154.
