• Bond Denied For On-Duty Officer Charged In Edgewood Woman's Sexual Assault (patch.com) — Residents in and around Edgewood are learning more about the case of suspended Baltimore City police officer Daniel Oxendine, who is being held without bond after DNA evidence allegedly linked him to the sexual assault of an Edgewood woman he'd driven home while on duty. Harford County detectives and prosecutors say they are actively investigating whether there are additional victims and are urging anyone with relevant information to contact the sheriff's office.

• 1 Killed In Suspected Drunk Driving Crash: Maryland State Police (patch.com) — Drivers who use the roads near Bel Air should know that Maryland State Police from the Bel Air Barrack are investigating a suspected drunk driving crash at Routes 152 and 147 that killed 40-year-old Christopher Larry Grimsley. Troopers say a southbound Toyota 4Runner allegedly ran a red light and struck Grimsley's Volkswagen Jetta, and impairment is being examined as a factor.
