Patricia 'Pat' Colleen Harrison, 66, of Bel Air

Patricia (Pat) Colleen Harrison, age 66, of Bel Air, succumbed to her thyroid cancer on April 26, 2016, at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson.

Born in Victoria, Texas, she was the daughter of Vivian Melba Anders (Frankson) and Weldon Elder Anders (deceased). She was a graduate of Victoria High School, TX (class of 67) and a graduate of Sam Houston State University (1971) with a B.A. in teaching. She was a gifted and dedicated teacher who taught in various East Texas public school systems and whose last classroom, for 13 years, was at Bel Forest Christian Academy in Bel Air. She loved knitting, quilting, and associated hobbies. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Bel Air. She lived a life dedicated to the precepts of Jesus Christ, The Messiah.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 35 years, George Harrison; daughters Keelin Colleen Eder of Havre de Grace and Ashlin Clare Johnson of Keller, Texas; sisters Linda Woods and Deborah Rashdi, both of Houston, Texas; and two grandchildren, Isaac and Abigail Johnson.

Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, at Calvary Baptist Church, 206 Courtland Place, Bel Air.
