Electronic signs, reflective barrels and cones will alert drivers about the work zone and lane closures, while Maryland State Police will handle traffic control as needed during nighttime paving work at intersections.

Drivers should focus and be aware of reduced speed limits as well as potential traffic pattern changes.

“Please drive like you work here and slow down in construction zones,” the State Highway Administration advised.
