In-Person And Virtual Graduations Planned In Harford County
Harford County Public Schools has multiple graduation events planned for the class of 2020, including special magnet program recognitions.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — The 2,700 Harford County seniors graduating in the class of 2020 will have not one but two graduations. A team of school leaders and students devised a plan that includes in-person and digital components, according to Superintendent Sean Bulson.
"I am pleased to share that each graduating senior will be invited to return to their high school for an in-person, individual commencement experience," Bulson said.
Seniors will receive appointment times for these events at their schools between June 8 and June 12.

"Schools will be putting out the individual plans," Bulson said.
"There will be many details to ensure that we adhere to the Governor’s Executive Orders for social distancing and gatherings, that we remain aligned with Health Department guidelines, and that we take all safety measures into consideration," he said. "Your school will be reaching out with these details, along with an appointment time."
