Pizza Restaurant In Bel Air Under Construction

BEL AIR, MD — A new pizza restaurant is under construction in the Tollgate Marketplace. Crews are transforming a vacant 2,300-square-foot space into &pizza.

The business has 10 locations around Maryland, including in Baltimore City, Montgomery County and Prince George's County.

It offers customizable pizzas for $13.54, and the price includes unlimited toppings as well as finishes like red pepper flakes, fig balsamic drizzle, basil pesto or hot honey sauce, among others. Gluten-free crusts are available, and so are vegan mozzarella and vegan sausage.

The menu also includes specialty pizzas like "Maverick" for meat lovers, which has salami, pepperoni and basil pesto; and the "Dirty Bird," which is topped with buffalo chicken, blue cheese, ranch and buffalo sauce.

The Bel Air &pizza restaurant will be the first &pizza north of Baltimore City.

Construction is slated to be finished in September.

&pizza is one of three businesses going into the former Pier 1. The home accessories company announced in May 2020 it was going to close all stores after it declared bankruptcy.

Where one retailer used to be, there will now be three storefronts — Mission BBQ, My Eye Dr. and in the middle, &pizza.
