Plumtree-Tollgate Road Roundabout Opening This Week

BEL AIR, MD — The roundabout on Tollgate Road at Plumtree Road is expected to be open by the end of the week.

County officials say that they are working on the traffic signal at MD 24 and installing sidewalks in the area.

Paving, gutters and the curb have been completed, according to the Harford County Department of Public Works Bureau of Highway Engineering.

The anticipated opening date is Friday, Oct. 14, according to public works personnel. This is a week later than the original estimate, and county officials said that the weather was a factor.

"The storms/rain from last week set the project back a few days..." officials said in a statement.
