Tollgate Road Police Activity Wraps Up: Harford Sheriff

Officials said there was police activity Sunday morning on South Tollgate Road.

BEL AIR, MD — Officials say they have lifted a shelter-in-place order Harford County Sunday morning after a brief closure along a road in the area. The incident wear clearing by 11:05 a.m., according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

Police activity had prompted officials in Harford County to ask the public to avoid part of South Tollgate Road Sunday morning. The activity was in the 2500 block of South Tollgate Road, the Harford County Sheriff's Office reported after 9:30 a.m.

"We are searching for a suspicious person," the Harford County Sheriff's Office reported after 10:45 a.m.

About 20 minutes later, officials lifted a shelter-in-place order issued in nearby neighborhoods and said: "There is no threat to the community."
