UPDATED: Police Release Details on Trooper-Involved Crash
One person was still being treated for injuries, according to Maryland State Police.

One person remained at shock trauma the day after a state trooper’s cruiser collided with a passenger vehicle in Harford County, according to Maryland State Police.
Joseph D. Parrish, 23, of Aberdeen, is at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center undergoing treatment for injuries he sustained as a passenger in a Mazda 3 that was struck by the cruiser at MD 7 and MD 543 on Sunday afternoon, police reported.
Trooper Joshua Kim, 24, of the JFK Highway Barrack, was on his way to a call in Belcamp after 4 p.m. Sunday when his vehicle hit the 2006 Mazda 3 that contained Parrish and two others, police said.

Kim was en route to the 1200 block of Musket Court, where the victim of a hit and run and the alleged driver, whom the victim had followed home, were involved in an altercation, according to the report.
Police said he was authorized to activate the lights and siren on his 2014 Chevrolet Caprice and was headed south on Route 543 when he went through the intersection at Route 7 and his vehicle hit the Mazda.

Mazda driver Jared Richards, 21, of Abingdon, and passenger Sara Walker, 19, of Edgewood, were taken by ambulance to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where they were treated for their injuries, according to police.
Parrish and Kim were flown to shock trauma, where Kim was released at 9 p.m. Sunday, according to police.
Parrish remained at shock trauma Monday for medical treatment, police reported.
The Maryland State Police Crash Team is continuing to investigate.
Kim has been with Maryland State Police for two and a half years, the report said.
In March, he received the Officer of the Month Award from the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund for performing a life-saving maneuver on the Tydings Bridge after spotting a man about to jump, according to Maryland State Police.
