Power Still Out for Hundreds in Harford County

Storm cleanup on Thursday continues for utility companies as roads reopen.

Roads have been cleared of fallen trees and wires after Tuesday’s storms whipped limbs and lines down; Harford County officials said Thursday morning that all roads had reopened.

Meanwhile, utility companies are still out in force Thursday working on restoration.

By 10:15 a.m. Thursday, there were 300 Delmarva customers and 12 BGE customers without power in Harford County. Most Delmarva outages were concentrated near Pylesville and Whiteford, with the company projecting restoration before midnight.

The number of outages reflected a significant drop from the previous day. County Executive Barry Glassman said there were closer to 4,000 experiencing outages on Wednesday.
