Bel Air Chick-fil-A Sparks Traffic Advisory
Traffic around Baltimore Pike is expected to spike around May 7 and May 8, according to the Bel Air Police Department.

BEL AIR, MD — As the new Bel Air Chick-fil-A celebrates its grand opening, officials are advising drivers to expect traffic to increase on Baltimore Pike. The restaurant will open on Wednesday, May 8. Before then, it is hosting a 24-hour camp out for those trying to win a chance to get free Chick-fil-A for a year.
Traffic will likely be concentrated around Baltimore Pike at South Kelly Avenue from Tuesday, May 7, to Wednesday, May 8, according to the Bel Air Police Department, which issued an advisory in advance of the new Chick-fil-A opening.
"Please be aware for the potential of traffic congestion in the area," the Bel Air Police Department said in a statement. "Traffic direction will be in place; however, this may not readily alleviate the congestion."
