Road Rage In Harford County: Charges Filed After Shooting
Authorities said a man was charged with attempted murder, assault and weapons offenses in the Edgewood road rage case.

BEL AIR, MD — Authorities said a man was charged with attempted murder and other offenses in the road rage incident in Edgewood earlier this week.
MacKinley Carlos Williams Jr., 38, of the 7800 block of Tall Pines in Glen Burnie, was arrested Friday, court records show.
Officials said Williams taunted another driver on Willoughby Beach Road and challenged him to a fight Sunday afternoon in Flying Point Park, then fired at the victim's vehicle on Palmetto Drive and Redbud Road. Investigators said the victim suffered abrasions unrelated to the shooting.

Williams is charged with 12 offenses:
- Attempted first-degree murder
- Attempted second-degree murder
- First-degree assault
- Second-degree assault
- Reckless endangerment
- Having a handgun on one's person
- Having a loaded handgun on one's person
- Loaded handgun in vehicle
- Firearm possession with felony conviction
- Illegal possession of a firearm
- Using a firearm in a felony
- Illegal possession of ammunition
Williams is being held without bail at the Harford County Detention Center without bail.
