Roundabout Construction To Begin Near Bel Air Bypass
The construction of a traffic circle in the Forest Hill area is set to take a little more than a month, weather permitting.

FOREST HILL, MD - A new roundabout is coming to Forest Hill. The traffic circle will be in the area of Granary Road at Water Tower Way.
Construction will begin on Monday, Aug. 14, according to the Harford County Department of Public Works. The intersection of Granary Road at Water Tower Way will be closed for about four to six weeks, officials said.
Businesses on Granary Road will be accessible via Conowingo Road or Robin Circle.

Roundabouts reduce crashes that result in injury or death by approximately 80 percent, according to the Federal Highway Administration, which reports that one quarter of traffic fatalities in the U.S. involve intersections.
