Route 22 Reopens Near John Carroll After Utility Poles Down
The road is open following a closure overnight, Bel Air officials reported Friday morning.

BEL AIR, MD ā Fallen utility poles caused the closure of a section of MD 22/Churchville Road for several hours overnight. Route 22 was closed between Brierhill Drive and the John Carroll School/Bynum Run Park area.
Initially, the Bel Air Police Department advised Route 22 could be closed until noon on Friday.
By 8:30 a.m., officials said the road had reopened.

The utility poles came down during a severe thunderstorm in the area that also prompted a flood warning.
