Shooting In Neighborhood, Homes And Vehicles Hit: Harford Sheriff

Residences and vehicles were damaged by gunfire in Edgewood this week, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

EDGEWOOD, MD — After several vehicles and residences were damaged by gunfire in an Edgewood neighborhood this week, authorities are asking the public for information. Nobody was injured, the Harford County Sheriff's Office advised.

Multiple reports of shots fired came in to officials after 9 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 8, according to authorities.

Deputies who were dispatched to the 1600 block of Meadowood Court at 9:07 p.m. said they found shell casings as well as damage to residences and vehicles.

Officers canvassed the area for a suspect and/or victim, and their investigation led to someone who had been shot at but was not injured.

The victim had been in a vehicle when four people approached, two of them pulled out guns and fired at the vehicle, according to authorities. The victim was not injured, officials said.
