Silver Alert Canceled For Woman Last Seen In Bel Air
The silver alert was for a woman last seen in Bel Air Sunday afternoon, authorities say.

BEL AIR, MD — A woman who had been reported missing in Bel Air has been found, officials say. A silver alert was issued for Violet Doris McDaniel Sunday night, and by early Monday morning authorities reported she had been safely located.
Previous report: An 83-year-old woman has gone missing from Bel Air, prompting a silver alert from police. Authorities may issue silver alerts when people at least 60 years old have been reported missing.
Violet Doris McDaniel, who goes by "Doris," was last seen leaving a residence in the 300 block of Hunter Chase Court, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office. The last time she was seen was at 4:30 p.m.

At the time, McDaniel was driving a royal blue Subaru Outback with Maryland tags "SSE777."
