FOREST HILL, MD — With customers in Howard, Harford, Montgomery, Cecil and Baltimore counties, Elite Home Entertainment in Forest Hill focuses on equipping homes with smart technology to make life easier.
Whether it's outfitting an existing space with a custom home theater, equipping a house or business with a high-tech security system or installing a smart home automation system, Elite Home Entertainment aims to bring entertainment, ease and security to Maryland homes and businesses.
"We offer all smart home automation services and products - home theater, networking, access points - and we are a licensed residential and security company offering monitoring services and cameras," owner Amber Vettas told Patch. She co-owns the business with her husband, Terry.

So far this year, the company's Sonos product line plus its outdoor patio televisions and speakers are popular right now, as well as security cameras, Vettas told Patch. These can be seen at the company's interactive showroom of more than 1,800 square feet at 217 E. Jarrettsville Rd., Suite 2A, in Forest Hill. They work with both residential and commercial customers.
The Vettas also like to give back to the community in which they grew up. They donate to Looneys Pub's St. Baldrick's event Conquer Kids’ Cancer along with The Ed Block Courage Award Foundation, Inc., which is dedicated to supporting abused, neglected and at-risk children.

"We donate to Agape Projects every Christmas for their toy run. We give back to SARC and the Humane Society with donations as well as other local organizations," Vettas said. "We grew up in this area and now we run a local business in this area. There is such a strong sense of supporting locals and each other."
Elite Home Entertainment is open weekdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and after hours by appointment only.
