Snow Timeline for Harford County on Wednesday

Emergency officials provide info on what's coming, how to prepare.

With a winter weather advisory in effect until 6 p.m. Wednesday, Harford County Emergency Management gave citizens a heads up Wednesday morning on what’s coming, issuing the following statement after 7 a.m.:

The [National Weather Service] is predicting snow for the Harford County area today.

Snowfall [is] expected to begin between 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. this morning and continue throughout most of the day.

Accumulation of 1 to 3 inches is expected, with possibility of 4 inches of snowfall in the northern part of the county.

Motorists are reminded to use low-beam headlights when driving in snow to improve visibility for other drivers.
