Town By Town Snow Totals From Latest Maryland Snowfall
The National Weather Service provided preliminary data on the snowfall that blanketed parts of Maryland and led to school delays, closures.

BALTIMORE, MD — What seemed like a dusting of snow Wednesday night was enough to create dangerous road conditions in parts of Maryland Thursday morning. The highest measured accumulation was in the western part of the state, and several school districts across Maryland delayed opening Thursday as roads were slippery from icy patches that formed amid freezing temperatures.
Allegany County reported 2.3 inches of snow Wednesday night. Schools there and in Garrett County were closed on Thursday.
Carroll and Harford both submitted reports of 0.9 inch of snow, and slightly lower amounts came in across the region. Public schools in Baltimore, Carroll, Cecil, Harford and Kent counties as well as Baltimore City started two hours late on Thursday. Public schools in Queen Anne's County opened on a 90-minute delay.
