Stabbing in Harper's Choice Sends 1 to Hospital: Police

A 24-year-old is in critical condition after he was stabbed at the Harper’s Choice Village Center Friday night, according to the Howard County Police Department.

The man was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center after police responded to the 5400 block of Harpers Farm Road for a reported stabbing/fight at 7:15 p.m. in the common area of the village center, police said in a statement.

Police did not disclose a description of the suspect, and the victim was not identified in the statement; officials cited the ongoing nature of the investigation.
