Stone's Cove Kitbar to Open in Bel Air

The new restaurant in Bel Air will open in the next week.

BEL AIR, MD – Stone's Cove Kitbar is opening soon.

The restaurant with a kitchen-bar as its centerpiece is poised to open to the general public on Monday, after its liquor license was granted by the Harford County Liquor Control Board Wednesday afternoon. A soft opening on Friday will be held for family and friends.

"Lovely job with that building," Harford County Liquor Commissioner C. John Sullivan said of the space in the Bel Air Town Center. Sullivan noted he had been watching the restaurant's transformation through the renovation and considered the finished product a "beautiful structure."

The signature “Kitbar” setup promotes “kitchen-bar” dining inside, with the kitchen/bar at the center of the restaurant surrounded by tables, staffed by a bartender/chef. Seating is primarily around the kitbar, and there are 11 booths and a handful of freestanding tables available too.

The menu includes dishes like Creole shrimp and Cajun prime rib, plus salads, burgers and flatbreads, among other items.
