Support Police At 27th Annual Polar Bear Plunge For Special Olympics Maryland

The Harford County Sheriff's Office currently sits in fifth place for fundraising among law enforcement groups for the Polar Bear Plunge.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — The 27th annual Polar Bear Plunge designed to raise money for Special Olympics Maryland will take place in the Bay Feb. 3.

This year, members of the Harford County Sheriff's Office Command staff, the recruit class and Explorers will participate.

Currently, they're in fifth place for fundraising among law enforcement groups as of Jan. 19. So far, the Harford County Sheriff's Office has raised $9,107 of its $10,000 goal. The 2023 Police Plunge to date has raised $134,233 out of its goal of $325,000 as of Jan. 19.
