Edgewood Murder Suspect Considered 'Armed And Dangerous': Sheriff

BEL AIR, MD — Authorities say a teen is suspected in the deadly shooting of a Joppa man Friday morning in Edgewood. Deputies found the victim while investigating the sound of a gunshot while on foot patrol in the Edgewater Village area after 3 a.m.

Anthony Lamar Martin Jr., 16, is wanted in connection with the homicide, the Harford County Sheriff's Office reported Monday.

Martin, of the 2900 block of Siwanoy Drive in Edgewood, is considered armed and dangerous, officials advised. Anyone who sees him should call 911 immediately; do not approach him.

Officials say Martin is suspected in the deadly shooting of Joshua Dwayne Crouse, 40, of Joppa, who was found in the 1800 block of Grempler Way around 3:19 a.m. Friday.

Despite efforts by deputies and Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company medics to save his life, Crouse was pronounced deceased at the scene at 3:50 a.m.
