Jaws of Life Required in Crash North of Mountain Road: Officials
A 32-year-old woman was rescued, Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company reported.

A woman was in critical condition after a crash that caused hours of lane closures on Interstate 95 north near MD 152 Sunday morning, according to reports.
At 6:36 a.m., a single vehicle crashed on I-95 north at mile marker 74.7, past the exit for Route 152/Mountain Road, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.
Using the jaws of life and other tools, first responders spent more than an hour trying to get to a 32-year-old woman who was trapped, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company. It took Joppa-Magnolia and Abingdon firefighters more than an hour to get her out of the vehicle, the fire company reported.

Her vehicle had gone off the road and into the woods, according to the report, which said she was the only person inside.
She was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in critical condition, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.

All lanes had reopened by 10:08 a.m., the Maryland Transportation Authority reported.
Previously, at 7 a.m., the two right lanes were blocked on I-95 north in the area. By 8:45 a.m., one lane was blocked, according to the transportation authority.
According to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, it took three and a half hours to clear the scene.
Maryland State Police officials are investigating the cause.
