Tree Crashes Off White House Road

The Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company responded to the crash in the area of Conowingo Road Thursday evening.

BEL AIR, MD — A driver crashed into a tree and reportedly was spared from serious injury by following safety precautions.

After 5 p.m., a vehicle crashed into a tree on White House Road in the area of US 1/Conowingo Road, according to Rich Gardiner of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company.

"The use of a seat belt and vehicle-equipped airbags saved the driver from serious injury or worse," Gardiner said.

He reported that the driver declined ambulance transport.
